In this Episode I’m focussing on the emotional component of our roles as Yoga Teachers, as opposed to the cognitive and physical parts. Specifically, we are talking about emotional labour and understanding how knowing the rules of what is OK to emote, regulating our own emotions and then performing sometimes contradictory emotions in an important part of the work we do, but without support, can lead to poor mental health outcomes. Oh, and there’s some tips on managing it better, too.
