Lineage and History with Phil Goldberg

I am thrilled to share with you my interview with Phillip Goldberg, the author of 'American Veda:  From Emerson and the Beatles to Yoga' which is one of our current book club reads.

(The other is 'Yoga Body: The Origins of Modern Posture Practice' by Mark Singleton)

In this interview Phil shared just a teeny tiny bit (a 45-minute Bija!) of his incredible insight, knowledge and study of the history of Yoga in the west, including some stories you might not have heard before.

Phil also spoke a little about his AH-mazing tour of India coming up (I'm already booked in!) and his next book (hint: biography of a Yogi...). Enjoy!

The Yoga of Caring

In this week's call I was joined by Singapore-based Yoga teacher Sarah Barguirdjian. Sarah shared how having a son with Autism has changed her Yoga practice and teaching and how she is now drawn to teach workshops and retreats to parents of children with special needs.
